The nearby communities of Sulphur and Davis, offer most common goods & services, including boat and vehicle storage, boat, RV, and automobile repair, and other recreation-related services.

New for 2009, a growing number of commercial services are available inside the park for the convenience of visitors. At present, services include dining and food delivery, boat rental, and firewood sales. Services vary by location inside the park.

Chickasaw National Recreation Area was originally famous for its mineral springs. Black Sulphur, Pavilion, and Hillside springs, along with the Vendome Well, produce mineral water. The National Park Service neither substantiates nor denies claims about the medicinal value of the waters.
