Chaco Culture National Historical Park and The Albuquerque Astronomical Society will present the 10th Annual Spring Star Party on Saturday, May 3, 2008, with an evening of spectacular astronomical viewing.  The public is invited to attend the program and view some of the best night skies in New Mexico.

The Star Party will take place at the Chaco Observatory, located behind the visitor center at Chaco Culture National Historical Park. Park staff will provide a solar telescope for viewing the sun during the day.  The Star Party will begin at 8:00pm.

Please bring your folding chairs!

Chaco Canyon National Monument was established on March 11, 1907. On December 19, 1980, Chaco Canyon National Monument was re-designated Chaco Culture National Historical Park. An additional 13,000 acres were added to the park.
