Summer Hours Change
On May 24, 2013, Capulin Volcano National Monument will be tranisitioning to our summer hours. The park will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The road to the volcano rim will be accessible until 4:50 p.m.

Capulin Volcano may have permanent positions available occasionally. These jobs will be listed on the Office of Personnel Management website as they become available.
Seasonal positions are usually available in the summer months in the maintenance and interpretation divisions. These jobs may be listed on the Office of Personnel Management website usually beginning in February or March each year. Student interns may be hired through the Student Conservation Association (SCA) or the Geologist in Park program through the Geological Society of America. Local high school and college students may apply for the Public Land Crew positions by contacting the monument. For more information, contact the monument at (575) 278-2201 or email us. |
