The National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) is seeking up to 10-20 volunteers to help remove Russian olive and tamarisk from the Fremont River corridor as part of an on-going project to control exotic invasive species in this area. Volunteers will need to register for this activity ahead of time. Be prepared for a day of moderate work cutting plants with hand saws and loppers! The park will provide tools and safety vests. Volunteers will be required to bring: sturdy work boots, long work pants, leather work gloves, eye protection (such as sunglasses or other), sunscreen, drinking water and snacks. NPCA will provide lunch.

For questions and to sign up, please contact Aitana de la Jara at 435-425-3791, ext. 101 or e-mail her at aitana_de_la_jara@nps.gov.
