Harkers Island, NC  –  Superintendent Russel J. Wilson announced that the Cape Lookout National Seashore staff has implemented its emergency weather evacuation plan due to the approach of Tropical Storm Hanna.

 

A mandatory evacuation of all visitors from the seashore islands will be implemented for this storm.  The park will be closed to all visitors and all services will be shut down beginning on Thursday, September 4, at 5:00 PM, until further notice.
