Sections of the boardwalk at the Red Maple Swamp Trail have been closed due to structural deterioration and safety concerns. Check at Salt Pond Visitor Center for the current status of this trail, and for your safety, remain out of closed areas.
June 2 Meeting Scheduled for Cape Cod National Seashore Advisory Commission Dune Shack Subcommittee

Cape Cod National Seashore Superintendent George Price has announced that the next meeting of the Dune Shack Subcommittee of the Cape Cod National Seashore Advisory Commission will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. There is a change in location to the Blue Room at the Provincetown Community Center, 44 Bradford Street, Provincetown.
The subcommittee’s task is to develop a set of recommendations to the Cape Cod National Seashore’s Advisory Commission on the establishment of a Dune Shack District Preservation and Use Plan/Environmental Assessment. The dune shack historic district is located in the national seashore along the backshore of Provincetown and Truro. A short public comment period will be provided.
