Parkway facilities will begin opening on a staggered basis in early April with all facilities open for full operation by May 23.  Most facilities will close after the final weekend in October.  The Peaks of Otter Lodge in Virginia, along with the Museum of North Carolina Minerals, Folk Art Center, and Parkway Visitor Center adjacent to park headquarters are all year-round facilities.
