Volunteers are an important part of the National Park Service! Can you can give us your time and talent for several months or for a few hours? Seasonal VolunteersRV Positions available for summer season 2024.Agate Fossil Beds National Monument has 2 beautiful, cement RV pads with full hook-ups within the ranger housing neighborhood. A short trail connects the neighborhood to the visitor center for volunteers working with the library, curation, or administration. The maintenance barn is within the neighborhood.
Short-term VolunteersWe provide several one-day volunteer events throughout the year. Example activities include: trail clean-ups, historical picture organization, weeding, painting, and special event support. Artist-in-Residence ProgramThis amazing 2-week volunteer experience allows professional artists to immerse themselves in the park while creating and sharing their art. Cultural Demonstrator ProgramArtists with American Indian heritage are welcome to set up a booth at the visitor center for a day during the summer. They demonstrate and sell their artwork to visitors. |
