Winter Hours Begin October 1st!

New hours for the visitor center are from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. daily. Winter hours run from October 1st through May 14th. Trails are open from dawn until dusk.

 

Winter Weather

Visitors are encouraged to call ahead, check the website, or check our social media pages before driving to the park on snowy days. If we receive a lot of snow, the visitor center may have a delayed open or be closed for safety. Winter storms can be quick and nasty.

When open, our maintenance staff does a fabulous job of plowing the parking lots and roads within the park. Visitors should drive slow on the roads and walk with caution along the cement paths.
