Earn a Junior Ranger Badge:

The Junior Ranger Program is a fun way to learn more about our park and how you can help protect it - just like our park rangers! The Junior Ranger Program at the Wright Brothers National Memorial is open to everyone.

To become an official Wright Brothers National Memorial Junior Flight Ranger, you can receive your Junior Ranger booklet from the front desk of the visitor center and complete the required number of pages. Whether it's exploring the grounds, testing your own abilities, or learning about the Brothers, each Junior Ranger book helps you experience the park in your own way.

Return your completed booklet to the front desk to receive your Junior Ranger badge! The Junior Ranger book is designed as an in-park program, but you can get started by downloading the Junior Ranger booklet ahead of your visit.

You can also look and get several badges while you are exploring the Outer Banks! Both Cape Hatteras National Seashore and Fort Raleigh National Historic Site also have junior ranger books and badges for you to earn. There are also national junior ranger books, like the Spaceflight Junior Ranger, created in collaboration with NASA. You can become a junior ranger anywhere in the country!
