And the GAP connects with the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail in Ohiopyle, as well as the Eastern Continental Divide Loop in Confluence and Meyersdale. For those seeking to travel the length of the PHT corridor, this section is best on a bicycle, although hiking is quite possible.
