Explore the Holzwarth Historic Site, the spot where the Never Summer Ranch, Holzwarth Trout Lodge, and homestead was operated from the 1910s to 1970s. The grounds are open 24 hrs. Historic cabins are open 9:30-2:30. Located on the west side of Rocky Mountain National Park, follow Trail Ridge Road 8 miles (12.8 km) east of Kawuneeche Visitor Center. Parking and vault toilets are available. Take a short hike to reach the Holzwarth Historic Site. There are 11 self-guided stops to explore along this tour.
