The Carbon River area in the northwest corner of the park is home to temperate rainforest as well as a rich cultural history. This tour leaves from the Carbon River Entrance and follows the Carbon River Trail (a former road) to the the Old Mine Trail, a short but steep spur trail up to the entrance of a mine. Along the route, explore the temperate rainforest and learn about the history of the area. Carbon River is open year-round.
