Interpretive Prairie Bus Tour
The ranger-guided bus tour starts at the visitor center. It drives through the historic ranch and bison pasture to the prairie overlook, 3.2 miles away. Visitors have opportunity to exit at the overlook and experience the prairie. Rangers talk about the flora, fauna, and cultural history of the prairie. Visitors will see the wide-open prairie and seasonal wildflowers. Potential wildlife include bison, insects, birds, and reptiles. Buses are air-conditioned and heated.
