Timpanogos Cave National Monument offers state-of-the-art distance learning programs for classrooms, and adult learning institutions. Programs are free and take place from September through March.

    Ask a Ranger

    Ask a Ranger provides an opportunity for your classroom to interact with a Timpanogos Cave park ranger through a live and interactive lesson via the Internet. Students will prepare questions ahead of time and spend 30-60 minutes with the ranger discussing Timpanogos Cave geology, biology, conservation and human history, as well as what it's like to be a Park ranger and work for the National Park Service.

    Earth's Changing Surfaces - How to Make a Cave

    Earth as seen from Space

    Explore the wonders beneath the surface of the Earth with a ranger inside of Timpanogos Cave National Monument. Come face to face with the forces that form the features of the earth and discuss how cave are created. Program also covers weathering, erosion, deposition, rock cycle, and geologic time.
