Allentown Art Festival at the TR Site

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Allentown Art Festival, one of the nation’s largest and most respected outdoor arts and crafts shows. To celebrate this milestone, the TR Site is teaming up with the Allentown Village Society (which sponsors and coordinates the event) to display the imaginative posters that have been used to advertise the festival during the past half-century. The posters will be complimented by photos that provide a fun retrospective look at how the festival and its audience have changed over the years. Come in for the discounted weekend admission price of just $1.00! Of course, members are free.
The museum will also be open to tour the Site's historic rooms and the museum shop. For festival-goers looking to take a break from the action, the Site will once again provide the perfect location to enjoy a glass of cold lemonade, homemade cookies and popcorn while sitting on the elegant portico or under a shady tree. |
