Thing to Do
Wildlife Watching - Riverbend Park

NPS | Cassidy Renninger
Starting behind the Riverbend Park Visitor Center, take the Potomac Heritage Trail in either direction. Going left will lead to a view of a bald eagle nest, and going right can take hikers all the way to Great Falls Park. Both routes follow the Potomac River, where osprey, belted kingfishers, common mergansers, and a number of other species can be spotted.
