Walk Around The Jean Baptiste Vallé Gardens

NPS
Through many generations and different families, the rose gardens at the Jean Baptiste Vallé House have been cultivated extensively into what they are today.
Suggested activities for the gardens:
- Stop and smell the roses
- Practice yoga
- Have a picnic (no glass containers please)
- Meditate
- Watch the birds, squirrels, or other wildlife
- Join a ranger program (sign up at the Welcome Center)
For the preservation of the gardens, please do not pick any of the flowers or other plants.
The gardens are open daily to visitors year-round. The Jean Baptiste Vallé House is only open during scheduled ranger programs. Please check with park staff at the Ste. Genevieve Welcome Center across the street for program availability.
