If you're visiting Anchorage, stop by the Alaska Public Lands Information Center to learn more about history and culture of the state's pubic lands, including National Parks. Get advice about trip planning, walk through the museum exhibits, watch a park film, buy a souvenir or earn your Jr. Ranger badge. In summer, there are ranger programs and tours. Ranger Recommendation

The Anchorage Alaska Public Lands Information Center is in the Old Federal Building which is still a working courthouse. You'll have to go through security so come prepared by leaving souvenir ulus, etc at home.
