June 29-30:
Austin Haney gives us insight into the life of a civilian volunteer before and during the 1877 conflict.
July 6-7:
Bob Brown takes on the first person role of Major Charles Rawn of the Frontier Army and the events that took place during the 1877 conflict.
July 13-14:
Darrell Wheeler is a Nez Perce descendent of those that were here in1877. He speaks of this time that is a part of world history, shaping human interaction, individual rights and culture.
July 20-21:
Leroy Seth & Silas Whitman are respected Nez Perce elders bringing us two amazing presentations. Leroy discusses the art of tribal dancing and pow wow, and Silas discusses the uses of natural resources for the every day survival of the Nez Perce. They bring many cultural items to view.
July 27-28:
Don Safford is a master at flint knapping. Join Don as he demonstrates the basics of making arrowheads, spear points and knives out of stone. He has many hand knapped items to view.
August 3-4:
Gwen Carter speaks about the traditional foods of the Nez Perce, how they were gathered, and related practices. Traditional foods will be on display.
August17-18:
Jessica Anthony gives us an in-depth look at what fry bread is and how it came to be considered a common food of many tribes of the Northwest and Southwest.
