Skiing
A great way to explore City of Rocks National Reserve and Castle Rocks State Park is on cross-country skis. Cross-country routes are not groomed, but there are miles of trails available for the adventurous skier. Hiking trails are open to skiing and snowshoeing, plus most of the camping road loops remain un-plowed and make ideal ski routes.
