See Moores Creek Bridge

The Battle of Moores Creek Bridge was the first decisive Patriot victory of the American Revolution on February 27, 1776. Come and see the bridge where the Loyalists made their fateful charge into Patriot earthworks. The bridge is a short 1/2 mile walk down the History Trail.

The trail to the bridge is 1/2 mile (each way) and is mostly flat. The surface of the trail is made from recycled tires. Pets are welcome (including service animals), but must be on a 6-foot leash.
