Picnicking in Dinosaur

The Plug Hat Butte picnic area is located along Harpers Corner Road on the Colorado side of the monument. Pinic tables are dispersed among the juniper and pinyon pine trees. A short, paved walking trail loops from the picnic area. Leave No Trace principles are to be practiced and all trash must be carried out.
