Paddle through Blind Ash Bay

Explore the rocky shoreline and a calm bay with your canoe or kayak.
From the paddle launch head west one mile between the rocky shore and small islands before turning south to explore Blind Ash Bay. Your total trip length will be about 2.5 miles.
Check the weather before heading out. Winds can cause large waves on this part of Kabetogama Lake.

Accessibility Information
The boat launch can be accessed via a four foot wide gravel path with a slight slope. The dock is accessible. A lift to assist getting into and out of boats is available next to the main boat launch at the end of the lower parking lot. That dock can be accessed via the sidewalk from the handicap parking space.
