If you’re near or planning a trip to New Hampshire, consider visiting the state’s two Shaker museums. It is home to both the Canterbury Shaker Village and the Enfield Shaker Village.

Canterbury Shaker Village is managed as a museum, offering visitors the ability to visit historic buildings, learn about the community’s history, and participate in a number of workshops.

Visitors to the Enfield Shaker Museum can learn about the history of the site and visit preserved Shaker buildings. They’ll also have the opportunity to explore historic Shaker gardens and participate in a number of workshops and events.
