Mountain Bike Fort Dupont!
Enjoy mountain biking in the heart of the Anacostia area of Washington D.C.! Approximately 10 miles of mountain bike trails are available for public use during daylight hours. The trails transverse through historical Civil War defensive sites. The trails are rated between easy and moderate by local mountain bike sites. Wide tires on your bike are recommended for the terrain. Some of the hills are challenging. A bicycle helmet and water for hydration are strongly recommended.

Mountain biking at Fort Dupont is a great way to exercise while getting away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Located in the Anacostia area of Washington D.C., there are approximately 10 miles of easy to moderate bike trails. The trails traverse through several Civil War defensive sites that helped protect D.C. in the Civil War. Bicycles with wide tires are recommended for the terrain and helmets and water are also strongly suggested.
