Luminaria comes to Mission San José

In honor of San Antonio’s Tricentennial year, we will be hosting an art installation or performance at Mission San José in partnership with Luminaria: Contemporary Arts Festival and Western National Parks Association. This will be the only offsite art installation or performance location during the Luminaria festival this year (November 10-11, 2018.) The visual or performance art piece will interpret the history of Mission San José and San Antonio Missions National Historical Park.

Calling all Artists!

We are happy to announce a call for artist proposals to interpret the history of Mission San José at San Antonio Missions National Historical Park. Apply between April 1st and May 15th for your art proposal to be considered. Join us Wednesday, April 11, 5:30 - 6:30 pm or Saturday, April 14, 10 - 11 am for artist information sessions at Mission San José.
