Hike with a Ranger on Spectacle Island

NPS Photo
Join the rangers of the Boston Harbor Islands for a hike. Ranger-led programs hike up to either the North Drumlin or South Drumlin while unpacking Spectacle Island’s history, or exploring the flora, and the fauna.
Programs are offered daily to coincide with ferry arrivals. All programs are staffing, and weather dependent, and may be cancelled at any time. Check inside the visitor’s center upon arrival to Spectacle. Programs last approximately 45 minutes, with some elevation gain.
Spectacle Island is accessible via public ferry. To purchase ferry tickets, please visit the Ferry Information page on the Boston Harbor Islands partnership website.
Service animals are allowed on island.
