As Jaramillo Creek is about 3 miles from the start of the Backcountry Vehicle Route, it is highly recommended to get a Backcountry Vehicle Pass from Recreation.gov.
Season
Spring, Summer, Fall
Access by vehicle is available May 15-November 15. All other times, you will need to hike, bike, or ski to Jaramillo Creek.

Vehicle access is during the park's operating hours. Access by bike is possible sunrise to sunset.
Accessibility Information
The section near the southwestern side of Cerro Piñon may be accessible with aid. All other sections of the creek require traversing grassland to the bank of the creek.
