The Visitor Center offers several indoor opportunities, including three exhibit areas and a film. The exhibits offer information about the cultural and spiritual significance of quarrying pipestone and the sacred pipes made from it, petroglyphs from the site, and a gallery of pipestone craftsmanship.
Visitors also have the opportunity to watch an award winning 22-minute film, "Pipestone: An Unbroken Legacy." The film provides perspectives on the significance of Pipestone and the quarrying tradition still practiced today from Native Americans and the quarriers themselves.
