As you stroll down our historic carriageway, you'll discover what makes French Quarter architecture so unique. You'll learn about the history of our site, the layout of the French Quarter, and common architectural features spotted around the quarter, all before you even make it to our courtyard!

Only service animals are allowed in the courtyard and carriageway.

Accessibility Information
The carraigeway at the French Quarter Visitor Center is wheelchair friendly. Our interpretive exhibit on architectural features is not accesible to visitors who are blind, but a Ranger on duty can assist with any questions and convey the information presented.
