Experience the ultimate urban escape with an overnight camping stay on the Boston Harbor Islands!
Escape the city and enjoy some respite at one of the camping accomodations on Peddocks Island. Walk one of the many trails on island and enjoy a night under the stars.
For 2025, camping season runs from June 18 through October 13, with campgrounds available Wednesday - Sunday throughout the summer season until September 1 (Labor Day), and then Thursday - Sunday throughout the fall season until October 13.
Reserve either a campsite or a yurt with Reserve America. Book a roundtrip ferry from Hingham to Peddocks Island when you make your reservation to ensure your transportation.

Service animals are allowed on island.
Seasonal camping is currently available on Peddocks Island.
Peddocks Island features wide paved pathways on the East side of the island as well as wooded trails throughout the island. Camping areas are accessed by a mix of paved and dirt paths.
Single-stall restrooms and drinking fountains are at ground level with no steps, with additional restrooms down one flight of stairs. Welcome Center and exhibits are several steps up and are accessible by elevator.
