Thing to Do
Become a Glacier Junior Ranger

NPS Photo/ A Fineman
Earn a Glacier Junior Ranger patch by checking out an Art for Parks Backpack, or a Discovery Backpack. The patch can be earned by completing some activities in either backpack and making at least four observations and writing them down
The Art for Parks backpacks are for everyone. Stop by our Exit Glacier Nature Center and see if there is a backpack available for you to check out. Take it to the glacier and make art. The Discovery packs are more suited for ages seven and up. Use the supplies in the pack to help make observations in an incredible glacially carved landscape.
If you wish to donate your art to the park you can do that or we might take a picture of you and feature your art on our website.
