Become a Biscayne B.A.R.K. Ranger
The B.A.R.K. Ranger program teaches pet owners about the importance of following rules while visiting the park so that pets and their owners can have fun, stay safe, and respect the resource. Pick up your copy of the special B.A.R.K. Ranger activity booklet from the Dante Fascell Visitor Center during regular opening hours then complete the activities to earn a PAW-some badge that attaches to a collar, leash, or harness.
B is for bag your pet's poop. Help keep the park clean by bagging your pet's poop and placing it in a trash can.
A is for always keep your pet on a leash (6 feet or shorter).
R is for respect wildlife (no barking, chasing or digging, please).
K is for know where you can go.
Pets, with the exception of service animals as defined by the ADA are not permitted inside the visitor center. A ranger or volunteer will assist you outside on the porch.
