Sworn enemies on the battlfield, but friends, and sometimes even famliy in other cases. The relationships between the Union and Confederate soldiers, as well as their similarites and differences ranged from simple to complex. Students will compare and contrast the two sides, as well as learn about what the things that we carry tell others about us, both in the present and the future.
