"Read with a Ranger - Zydeco Zoom" is a 45 minute program on-site at the Prairie Acadian Cultural Center in Eunice, Louisiana. Students will listen to a park ranger read the book Zydeco Zoom. They'll learn about Zydeco music and instruments. They'll make their own harmonica and play along to a Zydeco song.

Through this education program, students will learn about Zydeco music and different cultures. They'll learn about emotions when trying something new.

What is Zydeco music? What instruments are played in a Zydeco band? How can we navigate feeling nervous when trying somethig new? Students will enjoy a story and activity led by a park ranger all about this.
