"Read with a Ranger - Our Great Big Backyard" is a 45 minute program on-site at the Prairie Acadian Cultural Center in Eunice, Louisiana. Students will listen to a park ranger read the book Our Great Big Backyard. They'll learn about national parks and public lands. They'll make personal connections to the story and learn about the public lands in their home state.

Through this education program, students will discuss the role of national parks and the variety of parks in America.

Can you name the different types of national parks? What national parks does Louisiana have? Students will enjoy a story and activity led by a park ranger all about this.

To make a reservation, call (337) 457-8499 or email the park.
