"Read with a Ranger - I Know My Louisiana Colors" is a 45 minute program on-site at the Prairie Acadian Cultural Center in Eunice, Louisiana. Students will listen to a park ranger read the book I Know My Louisiana Colors. They'll learn to identify colors and icons of Louisiana. They'll make the story come to life through a painting activity and game.
Through this education program, students will discuss icons of Louisiana such as animals, food, and places. They'll learn colors in American Sign Language and practice following instructions during a painting activity. Students will engage in physical activity with a game all about color.
Louisiana is a beautiful, unique state filled with colors and culture. Students will enjoy a story and activity led by a park ranger all about this.
