The alpine tundra ecosystem in Rocky Mountain National Park is a unique and fragile place. Join an RMNP education ranger in discovering common threats to species like pika, ptarmigan, and plants that call the "land above the trees" their home. Students will research various threats to this ecosystem, present their findings to a park ranger during the program, and apply their knowledge to better understand their local communities.
Length: 1 hour

Equipment Requirements:
Access to a computer, a web camera (with a built-in microphone), a projector, speakers, a video conferencing platform (e.g. Google Meets, Zoom, Teams, or Webex), and a stable high-speed internet connection.
