In this field trip, students will explore the cultures, landscapes, and animals encountered by the Corps of Discovery as the traveled and mapped the newly purchased Louisiana Territory. They will also learn about the lives of Lewis and Clark and the people they interacted with during the voyage.
Virtual programs typically last around 20-25 minutes with time for Q&A. Please be prepared to share your screen or hosting capability with the ranger so they can use any digital materials they have created. The ranger will also email the teacher any suggested activities and sujbect specific materials ahead of time. Reservations must be made at least 30 days in advance. When setting up a virtual tour, be prepared to answer the following questions:
