Background

Whether for self-guided tours, ranger-guided tours, or just for a quick peek, students of all ages are welcome to the final resting place of our 18th President.

Ranger-guided tours are available by reservation only. Group requests are accepted for Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays only, and are contingent upon staff availability. Group requests must be received at least 2 weeks in advance.

Visitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone. General Grant National Memorial requires one chaperone for every ten students or children. Students and children are required to remain with their chaperones at all time.

To request a ranger-guided tour, please complete the Group Tour Request form. Submit the completed form by either email, e-mail us, or by fax (212) 932-963.

For more information about group tour requests, please call (212) 666-1640 or email us.
