This self-guided walking tour highlights the fort’s remarkable design and construction – a great way for students of all ages to explore the ingenuity, determination, and legacy of those who built, defended, and preserved this remarkable structure. Educators may download a copy of the walking tour handout or check out laminated copies in the park’s Visitor Center upon arrival.
