WASHINGTON – On Saturday, July 4, the National Park Service will host its annual fireworks display at Anacostia Park in Southeast D.C. In conjunction with the event, there will be street closures – some beginning as early as next week for setup – that the public should take into consideration.
From 6 a.m. on June 23 through July 7, the following roads will be closed 24 hours a day to all traffic, including pedestrian:
- Suitland Parkway/South Capitol Street SE Traffic Circle to Anacostia Drive SE
- 1901 Anacostia Drive SE
