Women's history is full of amazing stories of both ordinary and extraordinary people.The Travel Where Women Made History website introduces travelers and arm-chair travelers to a wide range of historic places associated with women’s history. All of the places on this site are in national parks or are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The National Register is the official list of the nation's historic places worthy of preservation. This program helps bring recognition to important places in American history.
