Director's Safety, Health, and Wellness Achievement Awards

Every year, more than 300 million visitors and staff visit or work very different environments across the country, district, and territories. Safety, health, and wellness are top priorities every day to ensure their safety. These national awards recognize exemplary work and achievements in these critical fields.

Award Year

Starting in 2025, all National Park Service national awards were adjusted to reflect the year they were awarded instead of when the work was completed. There were not national safety, health, or wellness awards titled “2024” to make this adjustment.
