Director's Awards for Natural and Cultural Resources

The Director’s Awards for Cultural and Natural Resource Awards recognize the outstanding contributions of National Park Service staff in understanding, protecting, and managing natural and cultural resources in and around national parks.

Award recipients come from across the country and US territories and represent the wide variety of specialists and resources that we manage for the American people.

Award Year

Starting in 2025, all National Park Service national awards were adjusted to reflect the year they were awarded instead of when the work was completed. There were not national natural and cultural resources awards titled “2024” to make this adjustment.
