What We Do

Harpers Ferry Center (HFC) provides interpretive media and related services to national parks. We produce exhibits, publications, mobile apps, signs, interpretive plans, films, and waysides; conserve artifacts; and so much more. It's our mission to provide parks with the tools and services needed to help visitors experience national parks.

HFC provides:

• Media development planning
• Publications consulting
• Answers to technical media questions
• Professional help with designing, developing, and producing media projects
• Planning for interpretation, education, and visitor experiences
• Museum conservation services, including surveys, treatments, training, and emergency response
• Graphics research

HFC is also the home of the NPS History Collection and the HFC Commissioned Art Collection.
