The Concessions Management Advisory Board, established as part of the National Parks 1998 Concessions Management Improvement Act, advises the Secretary and National Park Service on matters relating to the management of concessions in the National Park System.
The Commercial Services Program intended to dissolve the board on December 31, 2008, but we maintained it for five additional years, with many positive impacts. The Board was discontinued in 2013. There are no plans to reconstitute the Board at this time.
