NPS Rangers Host Summer Art Programs for Kids20 Photos
Once a week during the summer months, the National Park Service in Kotzebue, Alaska holds art programs for local kids. Each program has a message about a park resource and taps into the kid's artistic side. In this gallery, see rangers in action as they teach kids about how squirrels are getting ready to hibernate. Then the kids get to make their own squirrels out of recycled egg cartons.
