Traditional Ecological Knowledge, otherwise known as TEK, is the result of many generations of learning and experience dealing with wildlife, fish, plants, waters, lands and other natural resources found in Alaska. The knowledge and skills gained from these rich, cultural experiences continues to be passed down from generation to generation.
